What a fitting start to this Christmas season’s devotionals. God is forever broadcasting His love to people on this planet. Whether it’s the vastness of the solar system or the minuteness of an atom, His love is on display for all to see.

But we are a marred and cynical people.

• We doubt that God could exist and develop scientific theories to justify our doubt.
• We see evil in the world and wonder how God could permit such evil to take place.
• We strive and strive to find meaning and purpose apart from God, and wonder why we’re such a medicated society.

But God continues to broadcast His love and faithfulness for all to see. Sometimes people just do not want to see what is right in front of them.

Sometimes, though, we need to nudge them just a bit to help them to see. Just think of how many times someone nudged you before you believed.
