15 Open my lips, Lord,
and my mouth will declare your praise. Psalm 51:15

First comes the confession in the previous two verses, now comes the praise. David could not have praised as earnestly as he did without first settling the other things, the sin. Sometimes, though, the confession comes in the form of a song, much like verse 10.
