lest strangers feast on your wealth and your toil enrich another man’s house.
At the end of your life you will groan, when your flesh and body are spent.
You will say, “How I hated discipline! How my heart spurned correction!
I would not obey my teachers or listen to my instructors.
I have come to the brink of utter ruin in the midst of the whole assembly.” Proverbs 5:10-14
Sin, and especially sexual sin, takes a great toll on the body and the spirit of a man. Don’t believe the television shows and movies that promote promiscuous behavior with no consequences. In fact, it would be rare to find movies that promote a one man-one woman relationship ending in marriage. Entire movies have been made about this “abnormal” behavior because it’s so rare!
Sin will take you further than you want to go.
It will keep you longer than you want to stay,
and it will cost you more than you want to pay. -source unknown
Continue to pray for the generation that is going through the school system now. Pray that a “remnant” of kids will guard against the intense peer pressure to “hook up.”
Pray, Pray, Pray.
