4 I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands. Psalm 63:4
The Christian life has often been compared to a marathon. A marathon is a focused pursuit of one goal: the Finish Line. For most marathoners, they do not hope to be first or even in the top 10. They want to finish.
As we pursue Christ, it’s a great thing to break out in worship. Whether it’s lifting your hands, singing, or praying or whatever you do to praise God, not only are you blessing God, but you are also feeding your own spirit day after day, week after week. Regularly we need to let loose and worship. As it cannot be overstated, worshiping like this is voluntary and certainly not a requirement for salvation.
Let loose today.
