I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. As you read this, the New Year will be here. Throughout 2015 we will certainly need the Lord’s help, not just in the monumental, life-changing things, but in the living of life itself. If it’s not habit already, call on Him.

• Call on Him when you’re in trouble
• Call on Him when you’re celebrating
• Call on Him in the noisiest of conditions
• Call on Him in the stillness of the night
• Call on Him in sickness
• Call on Him when there’s no real need to call on Him.

Let’s make this the year that we “lift up our eyes to the hills”, shall we?
