5 But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

1 Peter 4:5-6

Only fools would think that this life is all there is, but millions do. They do what they can to “go for the gusto” because you only go around once. That is faulty thinking because God has made it clear that there is another life that we only get glimpses of in the Scripture but it’s more real than we’ll ever know.

This should encourage us to live Godly lives in Christ Jesus every day.
