14 For this God is our God for ever and ever;
he will be our guide even to the end. Psalm 48:14

I joke that “I waited for her for ever,” which was probably 10-20 minutes. Obviously we do not have a firm grasp on just how long forever really is.

Compare that to God who existed before there was time, and add to it that He’ll be with us to the end, that is quite a long time!

Every so often it’s good to ponder eternity because we’re surrounded by so many temporal things.

What crosses your mind when you think about eternity? What will it be like? What won’t it be like? Who will be there you know? Who won’t be there?
