My times are in your hands;

It’s amazing the relevancy of Scripture in 2021.

We tend to think our times are unique and nobody else has gone through them. Portions of it are unique but God is still Lord over all.

I’ve probably written this 2-3 times a year or more but God is not taken aback at what is going on in the world today.
He’s not surprised.
He’s not fretting.
He’s not worried.
Nothing about what we’re going through is a shock to Him.

The song we learned as kids, “He’s Got the Whole World” is just as pertinent to adults today as it was for children 30-40 years ago when we learned it.

That means our sickness is in His hands, our troubles, our frustrations, our sorrows, our political turmoil, and yes, even our death is in His hands.

We can rest easy tonight because God oversees it all.
All of it.
Every single bit.

I don’t have to try to solve the world’s problems anymore. It doesn’t mean we can’t try to curtail some of the evil that goes on in the world; we should. But getting ulcers trying to worry about it (without doing anything) is just not worth it.
