Do not say, “I’ll pay you back for this wrong!” Wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you. Proverbs 20:22

It’s what I’ve been saying all along though not with the clear weight of the Word of God. It’s easy to get frustrated and bitter at things people have done to you. But in the end, God will judge. God will be the arbiter in who did what right and wrong.

It’s hard to wait for God, especially when the wrong that was done was something that is vile and evil, but in the absence of a perfect law enforcement and legal system, God will mete out the justice. Thinking about and acting out revenge will only hurt you more.
