Not Alone

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. Proverbs 31:25

The previous verses seem to define this verse. Because the virtuous woman is generous and business savvy and brave and spirited, her clothing is strength and dignity. She can hold her head high because of her character.

We get beaten down often in this life. As Believers if we stand for something in our faith, we have a chance of being ridiculed and mocked. The media believes Christians are fair game for their attacks.

Many reading this are bruised and battered because of life. The enemy wants to taken you down and keep you down. The Scripture, however, tells us that “greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Simply put, if you are following Christ and are seeking to live a moral and upright life, you can garner strength from God Himself.

Consider this: Jesus was a perfect man and they physically beat and killed him. A perfect man in every sense of the word.

So, take heart my friends. You are not alone in your struggles. Of course the Lord Himself is your shield and strength, and there are brothers and sisters all around who are in this battle with you. Reach out to them.

You are not alone.
