4 to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.
5 who by his understanding made the heavens,
His love endures forever.
6 who spread out the earth upon the waters,
His love endures forever.
7 who made the great lights—
His love endures forever.
8 the sun to govern the day,
His love endures forever.
9 the moon and stars to govern the night;
His love endures forever. Psalm 136:4-9
If you’ve ever spent hours staring off into starlit night, the Northern Lights, or into the vastness of an ocean, then you’ll understand a bit – just a tiny bit – about His great wonders. Our finite minds cannot fathom all of creation.
We are tiny specks on this Earth.
Oh, we sometimes think we’re big and important, but it only takes one natural disaster to realize we are not as big and important as we thought we were.
And still there are millions who believe it all just sort of happened without any intelligent design at all. It was all random.
Wow, not that takes a lot of faith.
