10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 2 Corinthians 9:10-11

As a continuation to yesterday’s post, the cyclical principle is spelled out with a slight addition: we bless others so they an be a blessing but it results in thanks to God. I’ve always heard the illustration of a rose given to us. We smell it but hand it over to God for His glory. It’s His. He created it. We just smell it and give it back.

God is in the business of blessing us. I suspect He desires to bless us more.

I think it’s time we count our blessings, as the song says. We haven’t done that in a while. Write out your blessings today. Don’t hold anything back. Then with that list, hold it up to God. Bless Him today.
