I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4
We all have fears, don’t we? Some of those fears are real but many are imagined.
- We fear that our sons and daughters/nieces and nephews will not turn out the way we’d like.
- We fear that the world political situation is deteriorating minute by minute.
- We fear getting old.
- We fear that we’ve wasted our lives.
- We fear after all these years that people won’t like us or won’t accept us if we take a stand on issues we care about.
Just thinking out loud.
What are your fears?
The solution is obvious (reread the first half of the verse); admitting the fears takes courage.
