Our Heros

Better a poor man whose walk is blameless than a fool whose lips are perverse. Proverbs 19:1

Sadly, there are jokes and tales told in the West about the state of poverty in Africa. We even use Africa as an example to our kids: “eat your food because there are starving kids in Africa.” It’s not noble necessarily having absolutely nothing to your name except the clothes on your back, but millions go through it every day.

And they live.

And they do what they can to eke out an existence.

And those who profess faith in Jesus Christ must endure persecution and famine and hardships that would devastate most of us.

They should be our heros.
