The wise prevail through great power, and those who have knowledge muster their strength.
Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers. Proverbs 24:5-6

Not only do world leaders need strong advisors when considering war, they also need wise advisors. Not going to war is also a major decision. Leaders at the top should also be able to trust those wise military advisors.

Similarly we need counsel in our lives when we make difficult decisions. We need truthful battle-tested guidance. Believe it or not, there are many of those soldiers out there waiting to be asked. You know who I’m talking about, our Senior Citizens. Don’t be afraid to ask when you’re in a tight spot. You’ll be surprised at the wisdom that comes with age.
