Out of the Blue

I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. Psalm 63:5

Have you ever just broke out into song, wondering where the song had come from? Many song leaders understand the importance of that last song before a worship service is concluded. It’s important because it’s the last piece of music on the minds of the parishioners before they go back into the world. For me, about Wednesday or Thursday out of nowhere I’m at the very least humming that song, especially if it was something I was already familiar with.

It’s also important that we fill our minds and spirits with things that will naturally lead us to worship. We have incredible resources at our fingertips to do just that. Nothing at all is stopping us from just calling up a Youtube music video, putting our headphones on, and sitting back and absorbing everything we hear. Soak it in. Let it wash over your spirit.

Here are few that could do just that. The last one is an “oldie” but still very worshipful.
