2 Why do the nations say, “Where is their God?”
3 Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him. Psalm 115:2-3
Why do the godless even care where God is? They don’t. Whenever tragedy strikes, they ask the question but really don’t care about the answer.
Just so the whole world knows, He’s in heaven. Where exactly is that? Nobody really knows even though there’s much speculation about it. It could be a fourth or fifth dimension right in front of us or it could be a kazillion miles away. It doesn’t really matter, does it? What matters is that He’s there.
He’s also in the whisper (1 Kings 19:11-13), “as close as the mention of His name,” in the depths (Sheol), on the wings of the dawn, and on the far side of the sea (Psalm 139).
We can run from Him, but we certainly can’t hide. No place is off limits for Him. And sometimes He’ll go to the outer reaches of the globe to bring us back to the fold.
That’s something to remember, isn’t it?
