9 Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.
10 Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.” The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity. Psalm 96:9-10
We have not seen the full wrath and judgment of the Lord in our day.
I’m sure we cannot comprehend perfect, unbiased justice. We do the best we can with laws here but there’s always a very imperfect human element involved. With that comes motive, emotion, and prejudices.
On that day we will be thankful we were able to see perfect justice. We will understand all the frailties of our systems.
Terrible wrongs will be righted. The guilty will be punished. Justice will be restored.
When you see the sin, depravity, and pure evil in our world, it’s easy to become discouraged because it seems nothing is being done to stop it. In fact, those who should be stopping the blatant evil turn their venom on the accusers and victims! It’s not right.
That’s correct, it isn’t right. That’s the point, isn’t it?
Pray against the evil when you are in a position to. Trust that God is waiting for that day to make things right.
