A wicked man accepts a bribe in secret to pervert the course of justice. Proverbs 17:23

A few weeks ago we talked about bribes or tips (at places such as international borders). It is significantly different than the bribe in this verse. As you go through the Bible, you will notices that God is all about justice. Anything we do to thwart that justice will not go unnoticed.

We see these situations regularly in the real world. Cops, judges, politicians, spies, they’re frequently seduced with bribes. Take note, though, that God hates it and calls the person wicked.

Pray for these Justices by name so that they may make impartial, wise decisions.
