7 No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house;

Leaders in general would do well in taking to heart this verse. Lies by advisors can be devastating to those administering justice and good decisions. Unfortunately, lying in society has become the norm and not the exception. Some leaders even expect a bit of lying as long as it serves their purposes. (I’m not referring to church leaders here, mainly political leaders).

Sometimes, though telling the truth to people who can’t handle the truth can be devastating.

Pray for people within governments that are over you. Pray that their advisors will, in fact, give wise and accurate information to make informed and smart decisions.
