Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Psalm 96:2
More than 20 years ago I attended a church once while visiting family in North Carolina, and I heard the pastor say this one line that has stuck with me ever since:
If you truly praise and praise and praise, and praise some more, your witnessing won’t be contrived or forced.
Why is that statement true? Probably because if you’re so “filled with God” you won’t be able to get in the way of what you say. Perhaps that’s an exaggeration but it illustrates a point: “proclaiming his salvation day after day” is a natural thing to do when you step back to realize what He has done.
Now, I make it sound easy, but it’s not because there’s a lot of things to consider when sharing your faith and sharing what God has done in your life.
Spend some quality time worshiping today. No agendas. No lists. Just pure worship.
You’ll be amazed at the power and strength that he will give you when you do that.
