Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you!” Psalm 122:6

It’s easy to forget about Israel when there’s so much domestic turmoil. But let’s not forget that the U.S. just handed over $83 billion in equipment to the Taliban in Afghanistan. Much of the equipment may be used by Israel’s enemies in the region, namely Iran. But Iran is not the only enemy on Israel in the region…unfortunately.

This verse offers a blessing to those who love Israel. Very few countries in the world can boast about their love for the tiny nation of Israel. It’s sad but not surprising.

Still, we as individuals should also pray for this the peace of Israel.

Whenever you hear about this nation in the news, offer up a prayer for peace.
