The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises
and faithful in all he does. Psalm 145:13

William Carey once said, “The future is as bright as the promises of God.”

While we can focus on solving the problems of the world, in our nation, in our communities, and within our circle of friends and family (and there are many), we can remind ourselves that this life is not the end. It’s not the end because our hope is in an eternal God who has promised eternal life to those who follow Him. I don’t quite understand what that entails but I do know that it will be many times better than what we have now. How do I know this? God is faithful.

When He says, “He who has the Son has life,” He is faithful. 1 John 5:12

When He says, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes,” He is faithful. Revelation 21:4

When He says, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life,” He is faithful. Revelation 21:4

When He says, “whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life,” He is faithful. John 3:16
