7 Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.
8 They would not be like their ancestors—a stubborn and rebellious generation, whose hearts were not loyal to God, whose spirits were not faithful to him. Psalm 78:7-8
Every generation believes it will be better than the previous generation. We thought that; our children think that. To some extent it is clear that each successive generation has advanced in technology, industry, health care, education, and wealth. It doesn’t mean that the morals improve. Not in the least. In fact, a case could be made that they actually get worse as the new generation dabble around the edges. Musicians, artists, educators, and the entertainment industry all do it. They “push he envelope” as it were. They try to newer and “better” things and see how much society will push back.
We do not know what the next generation will do regarding spiritual things. Continue to pray for these young believers as they challenge those who “push the envelope”. I’m seeing good signs of that already on social media but they need our encouragement.
Ask God to give them a burden for the lost. Ask God to reveal Himself to these young Believers.
