Recalibrating

You are radiant with light, more majestic than mountains rich with game. Psalm 76:4

The author of this song, Asaph, just tells us what we know already. You could easily read similar words in our modern day songs and hymns. It’s important to be reminded about what we already know regarding eternal things because, quite frankly, we forget. We absorb so much of the world’s thinking and value systems that we need to step back and recalibrate to what’s important: truth, light, hope, beauty, love, eternity, relationships, and godly values.

Take time today to recalibrate in whatever way you feel necessary. The Holy Spirit will know how you need recalibrating.
