22 But the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge. Psalm 94:22
Throughout the Psalms, the writers all understood the inherent protection of God. They also realized that they weren’t immune to the evils of the world just because they believed in a God who could protect them.
David in particular knew it better than any of them. He was constantly in danger.
There is a comfort, peace, and security in running to the fortress of God.
In good and bad times, we need to run to that shelter.
There is no better protection and refreshment from the world than resting safe in His arms.
