Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Psalm 95:1
If you’re at all following politics or what’s happening in the world you could get depressed quite easily. Wars, rumors of wars, violence, lawlessness, hatred, and rage are all over the news. The Bible predicted it long ago so we shouldn’t be surprised. Russia, Syria, Iraq, Turkey, Iran, and Israel in the news at the same time?
That’s End Times prophecy kind of stuff.
I am not at all saying that we are in an End Times scenario, but you certainly couldn’t have predicted this ten years ago let alone 2000 years ago as the Bible did.
But despite all of that and all the problems in the world, there is a reason for us to sing on these occasions. Think about it: the Bible is being lived out in our lifetime.
Rejoice that your names are written in the Lamb’s book of Life.
Rejoice that He has counted you worthy to be called His child.
Rejoice that the Bible is the divine inspired Word of God.
