He has remembered his love and his faithfulness to Israel;
all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Psalm 98:3
It is becoming clearer and clearer that the Gospel is spreading to all ends of the earth. It’s a wonderful thing to see as men, women, and children are being transformed every day.
What’s also clear is that not only are men without excuse, but they also try to squelch the message and messengers. Satan and his minions are arrogant enough to believe that by persecuting God-loving Believers they will stamp out the message.
They just don’t learn, do they? While it is tragic for the friends and families involved in these hideous persecutions, there’s no question that the Gospel advances quicker and more forcefully. Outsiders see it and are astonished that people could continue the work these martyrs had been doing. Plus they get a chance to see how people cope under such stressful conditions.
Now I do not at all minimize what many of these people must endure. It’s very easy to write about them when I am so far removed from their location and situation. These are real people with real needs and real families. They need our prayers, now more than ever.
According to http://www.christianfreedom.org, these are the top persecuted countries in the world.
North Korea
Iran
Pakistan
Egypt
China
Saudi Arabia
Nigeria
Uzbekistan
Pray for the Believers there.
Pray they will be bold and discerning when presenting the Gospel.
Pray that God will continue to raise up bold men and women from these nations. They are dark nations that need the Light of Christ to shine brightly.
