A whip for the horse, a bridle for the donkey, and a rod for the backs of fools! Proverbs 26:3
Let’s face it, we are often foolish people. We make foolish decisions, say foolish things, do foolish things, and convince others to say and do foolish things. You’d think we’d know better by now but we don’t.
There’s a reason that an entire book in the Bible is dedicated to the subject of wisdom (and its opposite, foolishness).
We’re slow learners.
As you kick off the New Year, make it a point to ask God for wisdom daily, and if possible, ask several times a day.
