5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. Psalm 84:5

With the Middle East nearing an all out war and with the persecution of Believers at an all time high, it’s easy to want to escape this world for the one we know lies ahead. But before we go on that Great Pilgrimage heaven-ward, we have work to do here.

There are:

• Plenty of mouths to feed
• Plenty of people need to hear
• Plenty of protests to make
• Plenty of orphaned kids to hold and care for
• Plenty of prayers to pray and lessons to teach

We were never promised the easy life when we became Believers. We have choices every day that enable us to have good, Godly lives in Christ. We rely on the Holy Spirit’s strength, stamina, and power to live that Godly life. Without that motivation, we’d just be spinning our wheels.
