Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy. Proverbs 29:1

It’s very easy to point the finger at others who we know without a doubt are “stiff-necked.” Stiff-necked here clearly means stubborn. Know anyone who fits that bill? Or should I ask, know anyone in the mirror who fits that bill?

The beautiful thing about God’s grace is that He is patient when we are, well, stiff-necked. And this after we have been saved!

Is there anything you have been doing that you know is wrong but do it anyway? Perhaps the Lord has been gently chastising you in this area. Are you listening? God continues to call you to Himself. He’s not going to beat you over the head with it but will remind you again and again. Don’t miss the opportunity to get it right.
