Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:7-8

We are clearly on the receiving end of something remarkable. The salvation that we “enjoy” came at a heavy price. The Godly for the ungodly, the righteous for the unrighteous, the pure for the oily-rags dirty. It was nothing we did to earn it. It was a gift, pure and simple.

Let that be your thought as you meet people today. Jesus Christ is still in the “saving business.”
