23 He will repay them for their sins and destroy them for their wickedness; the Lord our God will destroy them. Psalm 94:23

This verse is the exact opposite of what just took place in the previous verse. One was the safety and comfort of a fortress for those who trust, and one was being crushed and defeated for his enemies. It’s not difficult to decide which is more desirable, and yet millions make that decision every day of the week.

On the one hand, we can rejoice that God’s perfect justice will be meted out in the end. The flip side to that is it’s not an easy pill to swallow. We still need to eat, work, and interact every day with people who by their own will are on that path.

Pray hard and ask God what He wants to do. You may be the only true Believer some of these people have ever met.
