Taking His Breath Away

The grasslands of the wilderness overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness.
The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing. Psalm 65:12-13

How often have you read verses like this and just skipped over them? David paints a very interesting picture of the natural world we see all around us.

The waves splash with great joy. Plant life praising and worshiping the Lord. Thunderstorms cleansing the earth and snowfalls purifying the air. There is certainly more to nature than we give it.

Just look at all the natural beauty that goes unnoticed for weeks and months on end until you stumble up on it during a vacation.

The earth truly is full of His glory, that is, if we have eyes to see it and ears to hear it.

All of the earth is performing a joyous work. From plant life to seasonal changes to the animal kingdom to weather changes, the earth is singing and shouting for joy.

Are God’s most intelligent created beings doing the same?
