The Friendly Skies

6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day. Genesis 1:6-8

The sky is one of those parts of creation we see and talk about every day. “Look outside and tell me the weather.” Invariably we look up to see if it’s cloudly or sunny or if it’s raining. We gaze into the sky at night to look at the stars. We look up when we pray and often when we worship. We don’t worship the sky or sun or stars, but the God who created it all.

When you look up, think about the God who created it all. Think about situations right now that are crippling you because of the worry and uncertaintie. God is certainly able to handle even the smaller problems in life.
