There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him:…a lying tongue… Proverbs 6:17

This is one portion of a verse that I say “Oh Me” rather than “Amen!”

Fibs. Little white lies. Stretching the truth. Lying through your teeth. Bold faced lies. They’re all lies, and the LORD hates them. It can’t be any clearer than that.

What is it a judge tells witnesses when they confesses their nervousness while on the stand? “That’s okay. Just tell the truth and you’ll be fine.”
