Differing weights and differing measures? the LORD detests them both. Proverbs 20:10

We know this verse deals with dishonesty but why? Why does the LORD detest it? Obviously there are more reasons than this simple reason, but I think it has to do with integrity in the little things. If you can’t be trusted in the little things, how could you possibly be trusted with larger things?

It’s a not-so-subtle reminder to us that God sees all things, knows all things, and is concerned about our integrity even when you are the only one who would ever know you were dishonest.
