Some have suggested that the Lord is just a bit more powerful than Satan, but that is absolutely false. To begin with, Satan is a created being, an angel. Yes, it is true that Satan has power in this world, but only as much as God has given him.

But more than that, He is much greater than our present day gods as well: money, fame, glamour, sports. The loose definition for god in this instance is anything that is given higher priority over Almighty God.
