The Next Reset

11 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it.
12 Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.
13 Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness. Psalm 96:11-13

What was it like before there was no pollution or disease or suffering or corruption?

What was it like in a perfect, untarnished world?

It’s difficult to contemplate a perfect world. It’s even more difficult to ponder over a world without sin and evil.

Such a world existed at one time.

We don’t know how long that world was before the fall.

After the fall of man, though, it’s been a downhill slide all the way. God wiped out most of creation with the Flood. He “reset” creation, even though sin still existed in the eight who were saved.

We’ve come a long way since then. Sin still rages on and it’s getting worse by the day. The next reset that comes will be the last one.

We have a glimpse of that new world through Scriptures. And it will be a world that has been made right again with perfect justice from a Perfect Judge.

He will do this because He is faithful and righteous.

We don’t understand what all of that means right now because it’s such a fallen world, but we will understand one day.

We certainly will.
