The LORD works out everything for his own ends – even the wicked for a day of disaster. Proverbs 16:4
I can hear the cheering on this verse. Finally. You hear about it and even see the wicked, but they seem to go unnoticed. We all know this though: there will be a judgment day.
But here’s a thought: does God grieve over having to destroy what He created? I would think He does. He’s probably also grieved at us constantly turning our backs on Him as we search for meaning apart from Him.
Have you ever prayed for someone you considered wicked, someone you intensely disagree with? Just a thought.
