Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame. Psalm 34:5

There are certain people in life who just glow in their faith. They don’t have to broadcast what they believe; they just glow. You may not be able to pinpoint why they glow but they do. Though ultimately you do know why they have such radiance. It’s the joy and peace that shines.

Conversely, you also meet people who are bitter and just plain mean. They growl and complain and make themselves (and those around them) miserable.

If we’re honest, most of us fall in between the two. We’d love to consistently radiate the love and joy of Christ, but life wears us down and we become cynical and stale.

We need to be recharged. Fortunately, we are able to do that daily, and even more if we’re so inclined.

We recharge when we read the Word of God and submit ourselves to Him.
