I cling to you; your right hand upholds me. Psalm 63:8
On Sunday morning a little boy in front of me wrapped his hands around his mother’s waist when they were standing and singing worship songs. The mother held him close. The little boy showed us just how we are to cling to the Father.
What does that mean exactly?
It means running to Him when you’re worried, sick, frightened, exhausted, bored, excited, or anxious. It means digging into the Word of God to find answers to your questions. It means just resting in Him. No cares. No worries. Just simple rest. I think we can all do that. In fact, our bodies and souls need that kind of rest from time to time.
