It’s never a good thing when you visit a new church and see all young people with no elderly or all elderly with no young people. Even though each generation has its own style of worship, all generations need and can learn from each other.

The elderly need the young to breathe vibrancy and enthusiasm into the church. Young people need the elderly for wisdom and guidance and stability. The church is healthiest when all generations can appreciate what each has to offer.

Pray today for your generation, that it will accept the differences and sometimes unorthodox styles of other generations.

Pray that you will be able to praise the Lord alongside them.
