Badge of Honor
An evil man is bent only on rebellion; a merciless official will be sent against him. Proverbs 17:11
The ultimate rebellion we see in life is rebellion against God. Even the godless recognize that acting as if there were no God is foolishness. But we see it over and over again. We see it in the movies, music, business, and sadly even in the Church.
If you think of it, though, sinful action is rebellion even for the Believer. Those who perpetrate evil thrive on the rebellion. It’s like a badge of honor to them.
As the days draw closer to Christ’s return, we will see more lawlessness and rebellion, anarchy and chaos. Take heart, though, because greater is He who is in us than He who is in the world. Stand firm in your faith. When you have the opportunity stand against the evils of our society.
