Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice. Proverbs 13:10

Who do you take advice from? I find it amusing when someone tells me, “want a piece of advice?”

But this Scripture says there is wisdom found in taking advice. Why?

The people offering that advice have probably gone before us and want to prevent us from making mistakes. Is that so bad, after all?

Before you completely dismiss the unsolicited advice from a friend or relative, is the piece of advice given with the best of intentions? If so, think strongly about what is said. If not, walk away in peace.
