As modern society “progresses” it becomes increasingly tainted and corrupt. Go away for a year or two and see how things have changed on the television. Things we used to blush at are now part of daily “comedy” sketches. Unfortunately as we sit and digest enough of the culture, we too can become corrupted by the world. We no longer wince at sin. Sadly, we laugh at it.

We need a refreshing, don’t we? We need to be cleansed by the Holy Spirit to be able to see the world as He sees it, to weep as He weeps, and to expose sin just as He exposes sin. It may be just as simple as clicking off the TV and computer and sitting in silence before Him.

If we did that for just 15 minutes a day, how would that change us?
