36 When Paul had finished speaking, he knelt down with all of them and prayed. 37 They all wept as they embraced him and kissed him. 38 What grieved them most was his statement that they would never see his face again. Then they accompanied him to the ship. Acts 20:36-38

Farewells are difficult no matter who you are or where you’re going. They were all still a part of something spectacular – the Birth of the Church – but they were going to miss Paul nonetheless.

The biggest part for them now would be to pray for Paul. How would they pray? How would you pray?

They probably prayed for boldness, creativity, persistence, safety, encouragement, strength, power from on high, joy, peace, wisdom, and discernment.
