What’s That Choice Again?

20 Can a corrupt throne be allied with you—a throne that brings on misery by its decrees?
21 The wicked band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. Psalm 94:20-21

We don’t often think of people as evil. We may see them as criminal, corrupt, and deceitful, but evil?

Earlier this week I touched upon an evil in our society that has chipped away at the nation’s soul. That evil, of course, is abortion.

At least 86% of all abortions are performed out of convenience. Feminists and the pro-abortion lobby are literally rejoicing at these figures.

Most reading this are somewhat aware of these figures, and believe as I do that abortion is a blight on the nation as a whole.

The “debate” takes on a whole new level when people are rejoicing at the “reproductive choice” that women are now free to make. It’s an evil turn of phrase if there ever was one.

So what are we to do about this evil? Is the nation too far gone to be turned around and to regain our soul?

I don’t know what to do, and I certainly can’t answer for anyone else. I do know that if we don’t speak up for the innocent, the other side certainly isn’t going to.

Ask God what He wants you to do about it, and then go do it.
