Ever say something in the “heat of the moment” and quickly regret saying it? Of course, we all have done this. The trick, so to speak, is to lessen the likelihood that we would say or do regrettable things. But all of that starts with what’s inside us.

Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) states, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

What’s going into our thinking and our heart will have a profound effect on what comes out, in the heat of the moment or otherwise.
