All a man’s ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the LORD. Proverbs 16:2

Have you ever tried to hide things from God? “How many times?” you ask. Even when we think we know what and why we’re doing it, God is sifting and weighing the motives. Amazing, isn’t it? And terrifying if you think about it.

Perhaps what amazes me even more is that I think I can get away with hiding things from God. I think that qualifies as an arrogant action, don’t you? Humility has gone down the tube when I think those things.
